BLOUNT FIREFIGHTERS RESPOND TO LITTLEBROOK CIRCLE STRUCTURE FIRE

Heartbreaking Afternoon in Rockford
Our thoughts are with our neighbors on Littlebrook Circle tonight. Earlier today, the Blount County Fire Protection District responded to a structure fire at 146 Littlebrook Circle.
Due to high winds (gusting up to 30 mph) and the close proximity of the structures, the fire unfortunately spread to the neighboring home at 150 Littlebrook Circle. Both homes suffered severe damage, with flames visible through the roofs, and three vehicles were also damaged in the blaze.
The Response Effort: The Blount County Fire Protection District arrived on the scene with 8 apparatus and 19 personnel to combat the fast-moving flames. To ensure the fire was contained and the surrounding area protected, the Alcoa Fire Department also provided critical mutual aid to assist our crews.
The Silver Lining: We are incredibly relieved to report that all residents and pets were evacuated safely. While the property loss is devastating, we are grateful for the safety of our community members.
Community Support: The American Red Cross responded for both addresses to assist the families as they navigate this difficult evening.
Please keep these families and our first responders in your thoughts and prayers.
