Meigs County law enforcement responded Tuesday to a home on Fowler Lane for a welfare check and found the body of Linda Kaye Bishop. Authorities took 56-year-old Joseph Bishop into custody for failure to report the discovery of a deceased individual and abuse of a corpse. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation. More details will be released once a lab report determining a cause of death is finished.
