Cookeville police were called yesterday to the area of 1100 England Drive after a concerned citizen found a deceased male in the parking lot. Detectives identified the male as 46-year-old Russell D. Crabtree of Cookeville. At this point, no foul play is suspected. The body was sent for an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death. This investigation is still ongoing. The Cookeville Police Department is asking anyone who may have seen anything suspicious around the area of 1100 England Drive between the evening of March 14, 2021 and the early morning hours of March 15, 2021 to contact them.
