Just before 10 a.m. this morning, Knoxville Police Department officers responded to 900 Neyland Drive on a report that a body had been recovered from the river. KPD investigators and Medical Examiner’s Office personnel responded to the scene for further investigation. Foul play is not suspected at this time. The body was transported to the Regional Forensic Center for further examination and identification. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
