Roane County Rescue Squad members were called Saturday afternoon to assist Morgan County authorities with a search of a man believed to have drowned near the Oakdale Bridge. Later in the day the body of the victim was located. His identity has not been officially released by the sheriff’s department. The investigation into his death is ongoing.
