BOMB SQUAD INVESTIGATES SUSPICIOUS DEVICE FOUND AT ROCKWOOD APARTMENTS

Friday night a suspicious device was found in a vehicle at the College Grove Apartments in Rockwood.
Rockwood Police were called to the apartment complex after receiving a call about an unusual vehicle in the parking lot. When police arrived, they found a suspicious device which prompted the Knoxville Bomb Squad to investigate.
The three suspects in the car were Tabitha DeGarmo, Matthew Hatfield, and David Cook. They were taken to Roane County Jail and charged with various charges and are still in jail as of late today. The Knoxville Bomb Squad is still analyzing the suspicious item and has no specific identification of it at this time.
