Wright Brothers Construction Company, based in Bradley County, Tennessee, issued a strong condemnation of a disturbing incident involving one of its employees at the privately-owned TBD Landfill in Clyde, North Carolina, as depicted in a viral TikTok video. The video, posted by a trucker known as “BossedUpp Ent,” showed landfill workers, including the employee in question, confronting the trucker, demanding he leave, and allegedly engaging in aggressive behavior, including flipping his trailer and tipping his truck.

The trucker claimed a part-time Haywood County Sheriff’s Office deputy, who was among the workers, closed his truck door on his puppy, though not all claims have been verified. The video, which garnered millions of views before being removed by the trucker due to emotional distress, led to widespread misinformation that the incident occurred on county property, resulting in threatening calls to Haywood County Solid Waste facilities.

Wright Brothers placed the involved employee on leave, engaged an independent investigator, and committed to additional training on conflict resolution and professionalism. The Haywood County Sheriff’s Office confirmed responding to the scene, with an incident report noting charges of simple assault, injury to personal property, and assault by pointing a gun, though no formal charges have been filed as of Friday morning.

The company expressed regret and emphasized its commitment to respect and accountability, addressing the incident with utmost seriousness.
