BREAKING NEWS – 1,000 ACRE WILDFIRE IN FENTRESS COUNTY
BREAKING NEWS – Crews are battling a 1,000-acre wildfire in Fentress County. As of 8 p.m. central it is 10 percent contained. Officials say it’s in rugged terrain in a remote area four miles southwest of Jamestown off of Gouldstown Road. A crew of 11 members, three dozers and four fire engines are currently working the fire. Currently no structures are threatened. This is a breaking news story and more information will be released at a later time.
UPDATE – Fire now covers between 1,200 to 1,500 acres.
