From the Knoxville Police Department:

HAPPENING NOW: KPD officers are investigating a shooting that occurred a short time ago at an apartment complex at 401 S. Gallaher View Road. One person was injured and transported to an area hospital. Bearden High School was temporarily placed on lockdown as a precaution but the lockdown is being lifted. Detectives are pursuing active leads.
