Ms. Brenda “Bea” Gibson, age 75, of Harriman passed away Monday September 16, 2024, at Roane Medical Center in Harriman after a short battle with cancer. She loved attending Emory Height Baptist Church where she was a member for 35 years. Bea enjoyed going to yard sales, loved her VOLS and had a talent for sewing.

She is preceded in death by her husband: James David Gibson.

Parents: Clay & Bonnie Kate Blankenship.

Brothers: Howard, Earl, Bruce, Greasy, Dwight, and Eugene Blankenship.

Sisters: Nina Burnette, Dorthy Fae Yearwood, and Caro Blankenship.

She is survived by her daughter: Courtney Gibson and her fiancé Luke Duncan.

Three God-given grandchildren: Kimber Wilson, Kaden Barnes, and Caitlin Nobles and her husband Steven.

And Many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She also wanted everyone to know that she loved every one of her “Babies” that she looked after over the years.

The family will receive friends Saturday September 21, 2024, from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at Emory Heights Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM with Pastor Reeves Schafer and Bro. Wayne Nelson officiating. Interment will follow in the Emory Heights Cemetery.
