A fatal vehicle accident in Wayne County, Kentucky this past weekend has resulted in charged against a driver. Preliminary investigations indicates 31-year-old Jesse Brown of Monticello, Kentucky was driving a 1999 Chevy Silverado west on Kentucky 90, holding a 7-month-old child in his lap. He then entered the east bound lane and struck a 2012 Ford Focus operated by 61-year-old Debra Brown of Albany, Kentucky head-on. Mrs. Brown was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Jesse Brown and the infant were taken to the University of Kentucky Hospital for treatment of injuries.

Jesse Brown was arrested and charged with murder, DUI, speeding, and wanton endangerment. The incident remains under investigation.
