A familiar face on television who worked several years as a meteorologist for WATE and WBIR in Knoxville has passed away. Bob Becker was 64-years-old.

He was born in Monroe, New York. He moved to Tennessee in 1997 and started a long run delivering the weather forecast on television.

He recently moved to Sevier County to take on other opportunities. Bob was active with the American Cancer Society and loved animals.
