BUS CRASH IN SUMNER COUNTY; FIVE STUDENTS INJURED
From Sumner County Schools:
According to a preliminary crash report from the THP, six students were injured and taken to area hospitals.
This afternoon, Bus 612 slid off the road and overturned into a dry creek bed on Rock House Hollow Road.
Nineteen students from Westmoreland middle and high school were on the bus. Five students were transported by EMS for further assessment. Fourteen students were released to their parents.
We are working with the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office and Tennessee Highway Patrol to determine the cause of the accident.
