(BREAKING NEWS) – Kenneth DeHart, the man accused of killing Blount County Deputy Greg McCowan and injuring Deputy Shelby Eggers, was caught this afternoon in Knox County.

He was taken into custody at a home on Linden Avenue.

DeHart was wanted for first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder in the shooting.

The search for DeHart has been ongoing since last Thursday night when the shooting occurred.

Authorities will release more information at a later time.
