Carl James Tackett, age 81, of Crossville, passed away December 27, 2020. He was born July 15, 1939 in Grethel, Kentucky, the son of Epps and Flora Adkins Tackett. He was retired from Ford Motor Company and attended Crossville First Freewill Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife: Jane Carol Tackett; sons: Carlos Tackett (Sharon), Frankie Tackett and James Dean Tackett, all of Crossville, and Eric Dufek (Pam) of Alston, MI.; daughter: Anna Marie Tackett of Crossville; sister: Barbara Hasley of Georgetown, Kentucky; grandchildren: Justin, Brandy, Christina, Josh, April, Ashley and Carol; and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter: Corinna McKinney; grandson: Steven Tackett; and sister: Lacy Tackett. Graveside services will be held Wednesday December 30, 2020 at 10 a.m. at Crossville City Cemetery. Obituary by Hood Funeral Home in Crossville.
