Carol Sue Henson, age 84, of Midway Park, North Carolina, passed away at her home on May 12, 2026.

Mrs. Henson was born on November 13, 1941, in Osaka, Virginia, daughter of the late Owen Edmond York and Rissie Gladiola (Waller) York.

Carol was a homemaker.

She is survived by her son, Robert E. Henson (Sharon), Timothy L. Henson (Roberta), Jerry L. Henson, Gary W. Henson (Jenny), John E. Henson, Ron R. Henson (Jenny), Donald B. Henson; daughters, Janice Sue Rohraff (Dave) and Jodie A. Denton (Jimmy); 30 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren; brothers; Owen York and Raymond York; and sister, Melissa Marcum.

In addition to her parents, Carol is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lloyd Henson; sons, William D. Henson and Thomas W. Henson; brothers: Douglas York and Edward York; sisters, Joyce Huffman, Frances Murphy, and Alice Senters.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Bilbrey Funeral Home, followed by burial at Green Acres Memory Gardens. The family will greet friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM prior to the service.
