Carolyn C. Austin, age 80, of Kingston passed away Sunday, January 11, 2026 at Park West Medical Center, surrounded by her family. She was born March 28, 1945 in Athens, Tennessee. Carolyn was a dedicated member of Cave Creek Missionary Baptist Church and was always an encouragement through her testimony and actions. She worked a variety of jobs she loved, ultimately retiring from Toyota of Knoxville. Carolyn loved going to church, yard sales, sewing, and spending time with her family. Preceded in death by her loving husband Ernie Austin; parents, Faye & E.J. Cline; brother Levearn (Buddy) Cline; brother Ken Cline; and step-son Alan Austin.

SURVIVORS: Children- Tim & Kim Clark, Jeff Clark & Missy Scott, Shawn & Sue Clark, Angie & Don Powers, Dwight Austin, Erin & Scott Cody; Grandchildren- Jessica & David Choate, Kayla & Eddie Irizarry, Emilye & Brett Guge, Sam Clark, Lily Clark, Jonathan Clark & Lauren Taylor, Jacob Clark, Caleb, Eli, and Noah Powers; Great-grandchildren- Eyan, Hailey, Gage, Kinsley, Josie, Monica, Elias, Easton, Ezekias, Edison, Silas, Keelye and Parker; Sister-in-law Delores & Cruey Dewey; Sharon & Bruce Valentine; Katrina (Tink) & Jake McDaniels; Tracy & Tony Arden; Sister-in-law Joyce Cline; Kenny Cline; Kim & Larry Johnson, and a host of extended family, friends, and church family at Cave Creek Missionary Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 pm, Thursday, January 15, 2026 at Cave Creek Missionary Baptist Church with funeral service following at 7:00 pm, with Rev. Rick Kirkland & Rev. Don Powers officiating. The church is located at 396 Harvey Road, Kingston, TN 37763. She will be laid to rest at 2:00 pm, Friday, January 16, 2026 at Roane Memorial Gardens in Rockwood.
