Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of the Tennessee Valley will be holding a ribbon cutting this week on Wednesday October 16th at 10:00 a.m. to celebrate the one year anniversary of their program expansion.

The ribbon cutting will take place at 53 North Main Suite 111 in Crossville.

CASA of the Tennessee Valley serves Loudon, Roane, Cumberland, Morgan, Putnam, and Overton counties, making it the largest CASA installment in Tennessee.

Volunteers with CASA advocate on behalf of abused or neglected children in the court system, and are appointed by a judge. Their role is to gather information and make recommendations for a child’s best interests, while also keeping the child’s wishes in mind.
