At the Cumberland County School Board meeting on August 21, 2025, the Charitable Fund distributed $20,000 to support various school programs across multiple schools, including Brown, Crab Orchard, Homestead, Martin, North Cumberland, Pine View, Pleasant Hill, South Cumberland, Stone, and The Phoenix School, as well as CCHS, SMHS, and SMMS.

Funded initiatives ranged from academic programs like math, science, and graphic design to extracurricular activities such as Cyber Patriots, BETA, and sports teams like girls’ soccer and flag football.

However, the total funding requests exceeded $62,000, revealing a significant shortfall.
