Charles Craig Parker, 67

Kyker – Charles Craig Parker, age 67, of Harriman Tennessee, passed away on June 10, 2025, at Park West Medical Center after a battle with cancer. Craig was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, and lived most of his early life in Dandridge, Tennessee. He was in the first graduating class of Jefferson County High School. He continued his education at Walter’s State Community College and received his BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Tennessee Tech University in 1980. After graduation, he accepted a job offer from TVA where he spent most of his 36 years as a Systems Engineer at the Watts Bar Nuclear Plant. Craig’s hobbies included travel, golf, photography, and following the Tennessee Volunteers. One of his greatest joys was buying presents for the kids in his life. He is proceeded in death by his parents Carl and Mary Parker.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years Edie Eble Parker; brother-in-law Jay Eble and wife Linda; niece Emily Eble Jones and husband Wesley; nephew Jason Eble and wife Jazzy; great nieces Averie and Lily Jones and Mila and Sofia Eble; and cousins Paula Fisher and Mark Schrader.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 13, 2025, 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Kyker Funeral Home in Harriman, Tennessee, with funeral, officiated by Pastor Denise Anderberg, to follow. The burial will be a private service on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in Dandridge Tennessee. In lieu of flowers and in honor of Craig: when you take your next trip get off the beaten path, snap a few photos, and enjoy a good hamburger—if you are a golfer, hit a mulligan off the first tee—or when the Vols run through the T, yell just a little bit louder!
