Charlotte Ann (Ashburn) Adams, age 69, of Crossville, passed away November 26, 2020 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Charlotte was born in Dayton, Ohio to Effie and Arthur Mae Ashburn on October 5, 1951. She was the second youngest of 7 children. She was raised in Crossville where she attended Cumberland County High School and played basketball there. In the 1980’s, she made the move to Texas and spent many years there. She returned to Tennessee later in life and lived out her remaining days there with family.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Effie and Arthur Mae Ashburn; sisters: Linda Gail Ashburn and Julienne Ashburn; brothers: Jerry Ashburn, Bobby Ashburn, and Roger Ashburn; and special friend: David Rhodes.

She is survived by her brother: Bill Ashburn of Crossville; daughters: Melissa Ann Keith (Scott) of Knoxville, Tanya Denice Maddux (Kurt) of Conroe, Texas and Jennifer Charlotte Tuttle (Adam) of Crossville; grandchildren: Hunter Brown, Gentry Brown (Holly), Colin Brown, Jace Holt, Adam Barringer, Matthew Maddux, Sydney Maddux, Abigail Tuttle, Addison Tuttle, and Payton Tuttle; and great-grandson: Easton Ray Brown.
