Clint Alan Carter, age 59, of Crossville, passed away March 19, 2021. He was born February 23, 1962 in Nashville, the son of Samuel F. and Doris J. Anderson Carter. He worked many years as a manager at Western Sizzlin and Ponderosa and later as a manager at United Grocery Outlet. He was a kind and loving Christian man and a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He loved gardening, fishing and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife: Kimberly Carter; son: Joshua Alan Carter and his fiancée Samantha Radtke of Knoxville; daughters: Rebecca Jean Carter and Joey Keathley of Crossville, and Christen Alana Carter and her fiancé Paul Clark of Crossville; brothers: Clayton Carter (Julie) of Oregon, Curtis Carter (Cheryl) of Harrison, Tennessee and Timothy Carter (Cheryl) of Crossville; sister: Connie Green (Darrell) of Crossville; and many special nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday March 24, 2021 at 1 p.m. central at Hood Funeral Home in Crossville. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 23, 2021 from 6 until 8 p.m. central at Hood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Old Philadelphia Cemetery in Walling, Tennessee.
