CLINTON MAN INDICTED ON RAPE AND CONTRIBUTING TO DEPENDENCY AND NEGLECT

Clinton, Tennessee – An Anderson County Grand Jury has returned indictments against Thomas Schrimpscher, age 27, on one (1) count of Rape and one (1) count of Contributing to Dependency and Neglect. Following an investigation by the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office, the case was presented to the Anderson County Grand Jury by the District Attorney General’s Office and indictments were returned against the Defendant.
The charge of Rape is categorized as a B Felony and the Contributing to Dependency and Neglect is categorized as an A Misdemeanor. The Defendant has been booked into the Anderson County Detention Facility on a $150,000.00 bond. He is currently set for Arraignment on October 27, 2025, in the Anderson County Criminal Court.
