Cody Ellis Lankford, age 28, of Harriman, passed away July 26, 2020 at Turkey Creek Medical Center in Knoxville. He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Ernest & Patricia Lankford and Richard & Brenda Brotzel; and stepfather: James Gruzius. He is survived by his mother: Teresa Grutzius; father: Roger Lankford; sister: Amanda and husband Matthew Eddy, all of Harriman; stepbrothers: Joshua Wright (Shannon) of Rockwood and Justin Haley of Knoxville; stepsister: Tanisn Wright of Oak Ridge; uncle: Lonnie Wright; special nephew: Brady Eddy; nieces: Amiyah and Amara, Nadia; nephews: Aidan-Symphony and Talloy Tovar; and many other family and friends. The family will receive friends Tuesday July 28, 2020 at Davis Funeral Home in Harriman from 5 until 7 p.m. with funeral services to follow. The family will meet Wednesday July 29, 2020 at 11 a.m. in Emory Heights Cemetery for graveside services.
