COLD FOR TWO DAYS

We had wind gusts to 48 miles per hour in downtown Crossville tonight as that line of storms moved through. Quite a few trees were blown down across the county knocking out power to over 3,000 at times. There never was rotation in Tennessee today, everything went as expected with just straight line wind and very heavy rain but conditions were not conducive for rotation or tornadoes, one reason was the cool air mass we had most of the day. Most of the rain will be gone for Thursday afternoon but cold high in the upper 30s dropping to 20 Thursday night. Valentine’s Day is looking sunny but only 35 degrees. We will not see much rain this weekend but it is expected to return Monday through Wednesday.
