We are saddened to announce the 2024 Cookeville Christmas Parade is canceled due to eminent weather tonight.

The parade committee has been in constant contact with emergency management officials and meteorologists since early last week, evaluating options for having our Cookeville Christmas parade.

Unfortunately the rain and wind Saturday night began just as forecasted, and more widespread rain and gusty winds are in the forecast for our previously determined rain date tonight (Monday Dec, 16th).

The parade committee, along with many participants, City departments, and support organizations have worked hard to create this parade. To cancel is not a decision the committee has taken lightly, and we are saddened to add this year’s parade to those that have been rained out.
