COOKEVILLE HIGH SCHOOL PLACED ON LOCKDOWN AFTER GUN REPORTED ON CAMPUS

UPDATE: CHS lockdown lifted after no weapon found
Cookeville High School went on lockdown after a parent called dispatch reporting a student had a gun on campus. CHS administration, SROs, and law enforcement issued a lockdown and were immediately on site. The student has been located and is currently being questioned by law enforcement. No weapon was found on campus. Lockdown has now been lifted.
