Craig Weston Robb, 79, of Fairfield Glade, passed away July 12, 2024, after succumbing to a long battle with Alzheimer’s. He was born on June 26, 1945, in Columbus, Ohio. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from The Ohio State University with a degree in Electrical Engineering in June of 1968 where he was also a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He went on to earn his Master of Business Administration in 1974, also from The Ohio State University.

He married the love of his life and best friend, Beverly Robb in September 1967 in Columbus, OH. They had 2 children, Steve Robb and Julie Shockley. He had a long and distinguished career with IBM. During his career with IBM, they were transferred south and made wonderful memories and gained dear friends not only in Columbus but also Cincinnati, Nashville, and Atlanta. In 2001, he retired to Fairfield Glade, TN where he enjoyed spending time playing golf, tennis, pickleball, and hiking. He also enjoyed traveling all over the world with his wife, family, and friends. He was on the founding team of the Fairfield Glade Dog Park, a member of the Sociables Dance Club, served on the board of the Fairfield Glade Community Church. He won a silver medal in pickleball at the Senior Olympics and played with the Jones Boys, Tennis-See Walkers, and the Sunday Sinners golf groups. He volunteered regularly with the Cumberland County Playhouse and Alzheimer’s Tennessee.

Craig is survived by his wife of 56 years, Beverly Robb, his children, Steve Robb and Julie Shockley and son-in-law Jeff Shockley of Atlanta, GA, as well as his grandchildren, Lizzie Shockley of Atlanta and Jake Robb of Lebanon, TN. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Thelma Robb, his brother, Douglas Robb and first grandchild, Brandon Shockley.

A service in celebration of his life will be held at Fairfield Glade United Methodist Church on August 3rd at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to:
