CUMBERLAND COUNTY SCHOOLS STATE TESTING BEGINS APRIL 12 THROUGH MAY 5
Rebecca Farley, School Director for the Cumberland County School Board, reminded families that state testing will begin on April 12th and run through May 5th, following the recent return from spring break. She stressed the need for students to be at school on time every day unless they are sick, as staff prepare for the final push before testing begins.
To help support students during this period, parents should ensure children get plenty of rest the nights before tests, avoid running late, encourage them to do their best, and ask how they did on the test when they return home each day.
The school will continue providing breakfast daily as usual.
Farley emphasized that families and staff are on the same team and expressed excitement about seeing everything the students have learned this year.
