CUMBERLAND COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE DELIVERS GIFTS TO 30 CHILDREN
From the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page:
This Christmas season, the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office had the heartwarming opportunity to bring joy to over 30 children from several different families by delivering gifts directly to their homes. Our dedicated deputies witnessed the excitement and bright smiles on the children’s faces, making this initiative truly special.
This wonderful effort was made possible thanks to the hard work of several officers and employees who raised funds during the summer by getting a sponsor for each hole at The Cops for Kids Christmas golf tournament organized by Ernie and Shannon Brown as well as a generous donation from Stone Memorial High School. The proceeds from this tournament enabled our team to shop, purchase, wrap, and deliver these much-anticipated presents.
Sheriff Casey Cox extends his heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed, whether through donations or participation, in making this holiday season brighter for these precious children. Your generosity has made a significant impact, and we are grateful for your support in spreading joy this Christmas. Thank you for helping us make a difference in our community!
