Funeral Services for Daniel Lee “Dan” Jones, age 74, of Monterey, Tennessee, will be conducted on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 1:00 PM from The Chapel of Goff Funeral Home. Pastor Danny Jones will officiate with interment to follow in the Friends Chapel Cemetery. Full Military Honors will be provided by the Veterans Honor Guard. Mr. Jones was born on Wednesday, January 25, 1950, in Morgan County, Tennessee, to the late Leonard Thomas and Hattie Branstetter Jones. Mr. Jones passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at his home. Mr. Jones retired from United Pipefitters with over 35 years of service. He was a United States Vietnam War Army Veteran Purple Heart Recipient. He was a member of Monterey First Baptist Church, a car enthusiast, a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Danielle Jones and Andrew Hayes of Monterey, TN; son, Caleb Jones of Monterey, TN; his adored grandson, Dallas Jones; sister, Ruth Garmany of Indiana; and nieces, Terri, Gail, Lynne, Diane, and Michelle. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Becky Stults Jones; and 7 siblings.
