Daniel W. Taylor, age 71, of Harriman, passed away August 23, 2019. Survivors include his wife: Patricia Taylor; children: Dionne (Marlon) Plucide, Daymen (Tabitha) Taylor, Jennifer Johnson, and Derrick Anders; daughter-in-laws: Selena (Drew) Perry and Karen Taylor; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; sister: Dr. G Christine Taylor; sister-in-law: Franda (Stephen) McBride; brothers: Pastor Larry (Terri) Taylor, Kendall (Stacey) Taylor, and David Goins; 3 great uncles; 3 great aunts; among his many friends, these were like sisters: Pecola Ewing and Margie Moore; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family will receive friends Saturday, August 31, 2019 from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the chapel of Evans Mortuary in Rockwood. Funeral service will follow. Graveside and interment service will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the St. Mary’s Baptist Church in Harriman on behalf of the Sickle Cell foundation in memory of Mr. Taylor’s son, Rick Taylor.
