Celebration of Life Services for Darrell C. “Pa” Henry, age 62, of Cookeville, Tennessee, will be conducted on Monday, August 3, 2026, at 6:00 PM from The Chapel of Goff Funeral Home. Rev. Ricky Dixon will officiate. Mr. Henry was born on Saturday, January 18, 1964, in Monterey, Tennessee, to Betty McCowan Henry of Cookeville, Tennessee, and the late Jarvis C. Henry. He passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Darrell was a truck driver working with R.M. McCaleb Transportation Company. He was the Best Life Partner and Best Friend to Amy for 44 years, the Best Daddy, and the Best Pa. He gave his life to his family and the road. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Amy Henry of Cookeville, TN; 2 daughters, Tabitha Lilly (Brandon Elmore) of Cookeville, TN, Sierra (Michael) Collins of Cookeville, TN; grandchildren, Ben “Bubba” Lilly, JoJo Bechtel, Jude Harman, Alice Harman, and Theodore “Theo” Harman; brothers, Harold Henry and Timmy Henry; sister and brother-in-law, Kellie and Delmer Bowman; best friend, Rev. Ricky Dixon and wife, Kathy Dixon; his work family at R.M. McCaleb Transportation Company; and a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Kim Redman; niece, Ashley Bowman Thompson; paternal grandparents, Fletcher and Fannie Alice Henry; and maternal grandparents, Andrew and Lora McCowan.
