The Dayton Police Department, as well as the Rhea County Sheriff’s Office, is asking for the public’s help with an ongoing theft investigation that was reported on Wednesday, September 14th, 2022.

Officers and Deputies from both agencies responded to the area of Second Ave from the railroad tracks to the area of Sharpe’s Cabinets. The theft was of a large safe and its contents, we are offering a $10,000.00 reward for information that will lead to the return of the safe, its contents, and the prosecution of the parties involved in the theft.
