DEATH ROW INMATE IN TENNESSEE SELECTS ELECTRIC CHAIR FOR EXECUTION METHOD

Tennessee death row inmate Nick Sutton has chosen the electric chair as his execution method. Sutton was sentenced to life in prison for murdering his grandmother in 1979, when he was 18 years old. He was later sentenced to death for killing another inmate while at the Morgan County Regional Correctional Facility in 1985. Sutton is scheduled to be executed February 20, 2020.
