On 10/24/2024 Deputies with the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office were notified by the state’s probation of a sex offender staying at a residence in the 100 block of Cooley Avenue in Parsons, that had not registered the address. Deputies did go to the address and located six individuals living at the residence. The owner of the residence did give consent for deputies to search the property as a result of the search the following was located:

Methamphetamines

Digital Scales

Clear plastic baggies

Glass pipes commonly used to smoke methamphetamines.

Three of the six individual was arrested for the following:

Michael Tomlin

* Violation of Sex Offender Registry

* Possession of controlled substance with intent

* Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Gregory White

* Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

* Tampering with Evidence

Joesph Madden

* Active Warrant out of Houston County

* The above defendants are presumed Innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
