DELI EXPRESS PULLED PORK SANDWICH RECALLED FOR PLASTIC CONTAMINATION

E.A. Sween Company has announced a recall of its Deli Express® BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich (UPC 0-41433-13087-2) due to potential contamination with plastic particles, which pose a choking hazard. The affected products, distributed across the continental U.S., Hawaii, and Guam through convenience stores, grocery, and mass retail outlets, were available for purchase between January 16 and October 23, 2025.
Specific lot codes subject to the recall include 1915013, 1915020, 1915024, 1915051, 1915065, 1915071, 1915093, 1915104, 1915114, 1915135, 1915140, 1915148, 1915169, 1915218, 1915226, 1915232, 1915254, 1915288, and 1915301. Retailers have been directed to immediately remove these items from shelves and inventory.
No injuries or illnesses have been reported to date, but consumers are advised not to consume the product and may return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
