DETAILS RELEASED REGARDING TEENAGER HIT BY TRACTOR-TRAILER IN ANDERSON COUNTY

The Tennessee Highway Patrol released a report over the weekend regarding a pedestrian hit by a tractor-trailer late last week in Anderson County.

It states a 2024 Freightliner operated by 36-year-old Staci Dawn Goetzinger of North Carolina was traveling west on Edgemoor Road near Mooncrest Lane.

A 17-year-old pedestrian was crossing the road, ran into the path of the oncoming tractor-trailer, and was hit.

The teenager was flown to U.T. Medical Center in Knoxville for treatment of injuries.

The juvenile was last listed in stable condition.
