A driver escaped injury following a single vehicle accident on I-40 in Cumberland County last night. Deputies say a 2010 Ford F-150 driven by 20-year-old Tristen Andrews of Brentwood, Tennessee was traveling at the 327 mile marker when the vehicle hydroplaned in a sudden downpour of rain and slid off the road. Andrews told authorities he was traveling 68 in the 70 mile per hour zone when the accident took place. Damage was noted to the truck rendering it inoperable.
