DRIVER FAILS TO STOP FOR POLICE LIGHTS, THEN SIRENS; GOES HOME INSTEAD
Yesterday morning, shortly before 9, Crossville police noticed a driver known to be wanted on local warrants for violation of probation.
After following him for a time, they initiated a traffic stop by engaging the blue lights. But the driver didn’t stop.
So after a while, they engaged the siren. The driver still continued on.
He eventually pulled to a stop at his home and got out.
Police took 28-year-old Jonathan James Holt into custody on the outstanding warrants. Holt is also a suspect in several active theft cases. A search of the vehicle turned up three syringes and other drug paraphernalia.
Holt was served the two violation of probation warrants and arrested for evading arrest.
