DRUGS, GUNS, AND CASH SEIZED IN TELLICO PLAINS DRUG BUST
On February 18, 2026, members of the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, including personnel from the Tenth Judicial District Drug Task Force and the agency’s Tactical and Narcotics Team, executed a search warrant at a residence on Graham Loop in Tellico Plains, Tennessee. The operation followed an extended investigation prompted by multiple community tips submitted through Crime Stoppers, the MCSO Anonymous Tip Line, and direct complaints.
Residents had reported heavy vehicle traffic, blocked roadways, neighborhood disturbances, suspected marijuana contaminated with fentanyl, and overt hand-to-hand drug transactions at the location. During the search, authorities recovered approximately six pounds of marijuana, various THC products including THC wax, hundreds of dosage units of opioid painkillers, drug paraphernalia, multiple firearms, and an unspecified amount of cash.
The resident, Randy Harrison, was arrested without incident and transported to the Monroe County Jail, where he faces numerous felony charges related to drugs and weapons. The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office emphasized its ongoing commitment to combating illegal drug activity and safeguarding the community, while thanking citizens for their crucial cooperation in providing information. The investigation remains active.
