Earl Thomas Garrison, age 88, passed away surrounded by the love and memories of a life well lived.
Earl was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Cloa Garrison.
Earl enjoyed the simple things that brought him happiness throughout his life. He had a love for hunting and especially enjoyed attending Walking Horse and mule shows. Those who knew Earl will remember the things he loved, the memories he made, and the many years he shared with his family and friends.
Earl is survived by Billy Copeland and wife, Frankie; Perry Copeland and Bonnie.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Heather Copeland Quintero and Josh; and Thomas Copeland and Olivia; and his great-grandchildren, Garret, Rilea, Coleman, Cloa, Adalina, and Briella.
Earl is also survived by his sister, Wanda Yates, along with several nieces and nephews.
He leaves behind his special friends, Ann Mize and Elaine Patterson, whose friendship meant so much to him.
Earl’s life leaves behind many cherished memories, and he will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
The family will receive friends from 5:00–7:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at Kyker Funeral Home of Kingston. Funeral at 7:00 p.m. with Reverend Cal Adams officiating. Burial 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 26 at Luminary Cemetery. Kyker Funeral Home of Kingston is serving the Garrison Family.
