EAST TN TEACHER CHARGED WITH VIDEO RECORDING GIRLS LOCKER ROOM
CLEVELAND, Tenn. — A Cleveland Middle School teacher was arrested Tuesday and is facing charges for recording in the girl’s locker room, according to a spokeswoman for the Cleveland Police Department.
Tuesday a Cleveland Middle School student discovered a covert electronic recording device in the girls’ locker room of the school, according to the spokeswoman.
The spokeswoman says administrators took immediate action in notifying the School Resource Officer, John Milen.
Officer Milen initiated an investigation, notifying Cleveland Police Department supervisors and the Criminal Investigations Division, according to the spokeswoman.
Cleveland Police administration and investigators responded to the scene to work with Cleveland Middle School staff and began conducting interviews.
Within 24 hours, the spokeswoman says the suspect, Cleveland Middle School teacher, Christopher Schroll, was identified and arrested.
Schroll is charged with a felony attempted aggravated unlawful photography of a minor, according to the spokeswoman.
