Edna Ruth Monday, age 77, of Grandview, passed away May 26, 2020. She was born January 8, 1943 in Harriman, the daughter of Jesse and Hazel Parks Frost. She was retired after many years from Farm Bureau in Ocala, Florida before moving back to Tennessee in 2008. She was also a member of Grandview Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband: Jay Monday; sons: Scott Monday (Donna) of Grandview and Steven Monday of Dunnellon, Florida; brothers: Ken Frost of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin and Jim Frost of Knoxville; grandchildren: Jason Monday, Jesse Monday (Vicki), Leah Monday, Becca Weber, Christiana Monday and Shawnee O’Connell (Colin); and nine great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held Saturday May 30, 2020 at 1 p.m. central time at Hood Funeral Home in Crossville. The family will receive friends Saturday from noon until 1 p.m. central at the funeral home. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery in Grandview.
