Emory Donald “Don” Kiser, 87
Emory Donald “Don” Kiser passed away peacefully at home on February 27, 2025, in Crossville, Tennessee, at the age of 87. Born on June 8, 1937, in West Virginia, Don lived a life enriched by adventure and cherished moments.
Don was a devoted husband to JoAnn H. Kiser, sharing 32 years of marriage. He was a loving father to his daughter Vanessa Cradic and a proud grandfather to Matthew and Brittney Cradic. Their family also included 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Jerome and Katie Kiser; daughters Beth Sexton and Genene Kaywood; and brother Paul Kiser.
Don found great joy in fishing and hunting, often immersing himself in nature’s beauty. He also had a deep love for travel, exploring breathtaking destinations such as Alaska, Mexico, and Arizona alongside his beloved, JoAnn. Their journeys brought them countless treasured memories and introduced them to many dear friends along the way. Don’s legacy is one of love, adventure, and strong family bonds. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnn H. Kiser; daughter, Vanessa Cradic; grandchildren, Matthew Cradic, Brittney Cradic, Donald Bridges, and Rhonda Seth; daughter, Susan Durst (Tom); daughter, Cynthia Noe; granddaughter, Carrie Noe; great granddaughter MacKenzie; and daughter, Jacque Murphy, (Darryl), grandchildren, Emily Murphy, Jake Murphy (Sy’Vone) and Alex Murphy (Breanna).
Brothers, Doug (Mary) WV; Jim (Joyce) AZ; sister, Belva Kiser, TX. Plus many other wonderful members of his family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Lantana Road Baptist Church on March 8th, 2025. Receiving friends from 11 am – 1 pm. Service begins at 1:00 pm (Central Standard Time) Flowers can be sent to 3270 Lantana Road, Crossville, TN 38572
