Evacuations took place in Morgan County today for some families living along the Emory River. A shelter was opened at Oakdale United Methodist Church. Officials say Oakdale took the brunt of the flooding in Morgan County today. Emergency officials will watching conditions and hope the flood waters start to go down. The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office is asking motorists to be cautious while traveling.
