The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) is hosting a mobile household hazardous waste collection event in Cumberland County on Saturday, October 4, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Cumberland County Community Complex, located at 1398 Livingston Road in Crossville.
This free service allows residents, including those from outside the county, to safely dispose of household hazardous items such as cleaning fluids, pesticides, and swimming pool chemicals. Businesses, schools, farms, churches, and other non-household entities generating Very Small Quantity Generator Waste must pay a disposal fee and schedule an appointment by calling (615) 643-3170 for a price quote.
