EXPECT DELAYS, LANE CLOSURES ON I-40 IN PUTNAM COUNTY
TDOT maintenance crews will be patching potholes this week on I-40 in Putnam County. Intermittent lane closures will happen from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
Tuesday, July 9: mile marker 290-294 on I-40 East
Wednesday, July 10: mile marker 294-300 on I-40 East
Thursday, July 11: mile marker 291-285 on I-40 West
If traveling I-40 Eastbound between Tennessee Ave and Highway 111 you may notice traffic is moving slow and drive time is longer than normal. This is due to pothole repair on the eastbound side.
Please use caution and give crews a safe place to work. Hopefully the repairs will be done soon and everything will be business as usual.
