FAMILY PROMISE MERGES WITH ROANE COUNTY COOPERATIVE MINISTRIES
Announcement from Family Promise of Roane County:
“Family Promise of Roane County , Inc. (FPRC) is pleased to announce that we have entered into a definitive merger agreement with Roane County Cooperative Ministries (RCCM), the leading organizations in serving homeless and prevention services throughout our county. The merger will take place on November 1, 2024.
This change will empower Family Promise of Roane County, INC. with a larger and stronger network of resources, supporters and partners. We will continue to maintain our core services: Prevention, Shelter, Diversion (Rapid Rehousing), and Stabilization (Education), while adding Cooperative Efforts (Church-Funded Assistance). This partnership will result in greater efficiencies and will significantly increase our community impact.
The integration of these two organizations has taken place over the last several months and will be finalized on November 1, 2024. We will have a transition period between November 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024 where we will work onsite at Midtown Valley United Methodist Church on Monday and Thursday mornings from 9:00am-Noon before transitioning to our Rockwood locations on January 1, 2025.
In the meantime, our clients and guests have and will continue to receive the same high quality, client-centered, trauma-informed care, which they have come to expect.
We will continue to serve our guests as Family Promise of Roane County, INC., staying dedicated to our communities that have lifted us to success over the past ten years, and we will need your continued support to serve our community members in need.
Those wishing to celebrating with us are encouraged to attend our ribbon cutting on November 1, 2024 at 2:30pm at Midtown Valley United Methodist Church, located at 1625 Roane State Highway, Harriman.”
