A vehicle crash on Groves Road near the Bledsoe/Van Buren line yesterday afternoon claimed a life and left four others hurt. The Tennessee Highway Patrol says Jesse Evitt was ejected after impact and sustained fatal injuries. The report states he was not restrained. The other occupants seen by medics included a 16-year-old driver from Pikeville, a 14 and 15 year old, and 19-year-old Dekoda Bailey from Florida. The accident is under investigation.
